Angela is a 30-something year old who is still learning about this complex yet beautiful gift called life. Born in Queens but raised in Greenville, she is a proud southerner. She earned a B.A. in Music from Converse college. She was minister of music and played piano at Beulah Christian Fellowship Church and is the grateful owner and instructor at B Major Piano Studio LLC (bmajorpianostudio.com).
Since 2019, Angela has mentored Tacori Lily Blakely with Beauty Marks for Girls. Going through this program helped Angela grow as a leader, becoming a friend to a young lady facing the challenge of parental incarceration. Angela has seen growth in Tacori and often jokes that if the tables were turnt, Tacori would have been HER mentor instead!
Angela will forever be grateful for the many opportunities that shaped who she has become and is becoming. All glory goes to God, for the many great things He has done! She has been kept but her wonderful Savior Jesus Christ, and it only gets sweeter as the days go by.

She enjoys assisting at-risk and special needs children to tap into their God-given abilities.
Latorya took time off to be involved with her two honors students involved in activities like Beta Club, Delta Academy, Writers & Illustration Club, Band, and Basketball. She, too, experienced the disconnect from her mother during adolescence due to her mother’s incarceration.
